About Wayfair:
Wayfair and its collection of brands is looking for creative, driven, empathetic, entrepreneurial design sales consultants to help grow one of our newest teams. This virtual role will be responsible for helping customers create and envision a home they would love and recommend products that meet their individual budget, style and space.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Achieve Sales and Design Goals: Conduct virtual design consultations to meet sales, design, and productivity targets in alignment with Wayfair’s Sales KPIs
  • Use Multiple Tools: Navigate multiple software applications and tools to provide recommendations based on customers' budget, style, and space
  • Create Designs: Develop designs using tools for moodboards, 2D floor plans, product lists, and style inspiration
  • Manage CRM: Track and manage customer interactions using Salesforce CRM.
  • Provide Expertise: Utilize sales and interior design knowledge to guide customers through design decisions and purchases
  • Stay Updated: Keep informed about design trends and marketplace updates to assist customers with product features, style coordination, and sample requests.
  • Manage Time Efficiently: Prioritize customer experience while managing your time effectively
  • Ask Key Questions: Ask relevant probing questions to offer complete sales solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Maintain Professionalism: Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with all customers and team members
  • Contribute Ideas: Share innovative ideas to improve team operations.
  • Adapt to Change: Work in a dynamic environment with frequent updates to products, promotions, and operations
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in training on offerings, software, processes, and customizations

 

 

 

What You’ll Need (Required):

  • Remote Technology Proficiency: Experience using technology to drive business results, including virtual communication and video conferencing
  • Design and Sales Experience: 2 years of sales experience required with a track record of meeting and exceeding quotas
  • Education: A degree, background or certification in interior design
  • Customer Service & Sales: Strong focus on delivering excellent customer service and achieving sales targets
  • Design Knowledge: Understanding of basic design principles, including spatial planning, fabric selection, interior design styles, and trends
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organization, self-motivation, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Internet Requirements: Ability to maintain a hardwired internet connection with speeds of 25+ Mbps download and 5+ Mbps upload for voice and web traffic (no WiFi)
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to contribute to the success of team members and collaborate effectively
  • Workspace: Dedicated private workspace (Wayfair provides necessary computer equipment)
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new business systems

What We’d Love (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Sales Experience: 4+ years of sales experience preferred
  • Design Sales Experience: 2-4 years experience in design-related sales
  • Interior Design Experience: 1 year of interior design experience preferred
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or college diploma equivalent
