Job Description : 

Experienced Technical Manual Writer will be responsible for creating illustrations for use in technical documentation for military electronic systems. Position will require producing illustrations, generating templates, gathering, organizing, editing and writing project-specific technical materials for inclusion in technical manuals. Duties may include gathering and organizing technical information, preparing text and tools, and coordinating layout for print or electronic publication.

Required Skill Set : 

Must be able to adapt to rapidly changing environment, and be responsible for independently developing illustrations, engineering documentation, and technical publications. Must be able to gather technical information, maintain an internal documentation library, work with developers to produce professional-quality documents and materials, assuring proper document configuration control is in-place. Ability to decipher line drawings. Must be able to provide graphic and illustration expertise, interpret engineering drawings and write technical copy for engineering documentation. 5 years of related work experience with creating and modifying illustrations, Engineering technical documentation and/or Tech Manuals, and proven proficiency using: Creo Illustrate Adobe Acrobat Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) Microsoft Visio

Desired Skills Set :

 Familiarity with GPO Style Guide• Familiarity with military electronic systems and documentation 5 years experience as a Tech Manual Developer/Illustrator in an electronic military environment.

Education Qualification :

 Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university, and/or 5 years of related work experience. Indotronix is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
